Child Identification

1051521_51758773.jpgThe most crucial piece of information that Police can have if a child goes missing is an updated photo of the child and physical descriptors. We urge parents to have this information with them when they are out with their children especially when travelling.

Child Find Ontario can provide that service free of charge for parents of our community with their Kidcheck/Fingerprint Program. Thousands of children are fingerprinted at "KidCheck ID" sessions held throughout Ontario, annually. Their friendly, trained and police-screened volunteers conduct these free sessions. Child find Ontario does not keep any of this information. This package is kept on file by the legal parent/guardian to provide details for the family and the police should a child be reported missing.
