Project Erase

The
Eliminate Racing Activities on Streets Everywhere Program (E.R.A.S.E.) is a result of the collaborative effort of twelve police services, the Ministry of Transportation and the Ministry of the Environment.
The goal of the E.R.A.S.E. Program is: "To change poor driver behaviour through education and strategic enforcement."
Street racing is an illegal and dangerous activity jeopardizing the lives of innocent people. Andrea Pike, a 29-year-old mother of two was tragically killed by a street racer on May 30th, 2000.
Andrea's killer received a lifetime driving prohibition and was sentenced to two years less a day for criminal negligence causing death - a sentence that pales in comparison to the life sentence that Andrea, her family, and her friends received.
