Do you want to help improve community safety? Citizens on Patrol (COPs) is a community‑based crime prevention program that encourages residents to report suspicious, disruptive, or criminal behaviour. The goal is to build safer neighbourhoods through observation, awareness, and community involvement across Greater Sudbury.
As a volunteer, you will work as part of a team patrolling the city, acting as additional “eyes and ears” for the Police Service. You will also support community events and help promote the COPs program to residents.
Patrols will be proactive and will encompass all areas of Greater Sudbury, including outlying communities.
