Incident on Clinton Street - Special Investigations Unit (SIU) investigating incident

On Friday December 5th, 2025, at 5:24 a.m., Greater Sudbury Police Service officers responded to a report of a break and enter in-progress at an address on Clinton Street in Sudbury.

Police Officers arrived in the area and engaged an armed individual who died during the interaction.

The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) was contacted and has invoked their mandate. The Greater Sudbury Police Service remains on scene.
