Looking for two swimmers - Moonlight Beach

Today at approximately 4:00 PM two teenage males left Moonlight Beach to swim to an island on Ramsey Lake approximately 1 KM from the beach. At 7:50 PM two friends of the swimmers approached the on duty lifeguard to express concern that they haven’t seen their friends in almost three hours.

Sudbury Police were contacted and attended Moonlight Beach. The only information provided by the lifeguard was that the names of the two swimmers are Brian and Ali.

Sudbury Police have several patrol officers on scene checking the area as well the GSPS Marine Unit has deployed to Lake Ramsey.

Police are requesting the public’s assistance to verify if Brian and Ali are safe. Until Police can confirm these two teen males are safe, Sudbury Police will continue to search on both land and water for Brian and Ali.
