Officers investigating shots fired on Notre Dame Avenue

Shortly after 2:00 p.m., on January 22, 2025, the Greater Sudbury Police Service responded to multiple reports of gunshots in the area of Notre Dame Avenue at Bond Street.

When officers arrived in the area it was learned that a collision had occurred involving two vehicles and a black Chevrolet Avalanche on Bond Street, and that gunshots had been fired from the Avalanche during the incident. It was confirmed that one of the involved vehicles had been struck by a bullet. Thankfully no one was injured during this incident.

The Chevrolet Avalanche involved in this incident was later found by police unoccupied on a nearby street.
