On behalf of the Police Service Board - Executive Director Appointed
The Greater Sudbury Police Service Board is delighted to announce and pleased to welcome Christine Hodgins as the successful candidate for the position of Executive Director. In this role, Christine will oversee the Board Office's administrative operations, labour relations matters, and legislative obligations, while supporting the Board in its governance and oversight responsibilities.
Christine brings extensive experience in privacy law, municipal governance, and leadership. She joins the Board Office from the City of Greater Sudbury, where she led the City-wide privacy strategy and served as the City's primary liaison to the Information and Privacy Commissioner's Office of Ontario. During her time with Clerk's Services, Christine led a number of strategic projects with corporate-wide impact, including the onboarding of the City's meeting management system and the development of a new Retention By-law and Schedule. She has also clerked Committees of Council meetings and led the execution of municipal and school board elections.
Christine is known for her strong advisory skills, policy acumen, and personable leadership style, making her a welcome addition to the Board. We look forward to the expertise, energy, and perspective she will bring to this role.
Christine is a welcome addition to the Board Team. She will officially assume the position on a full-time basis effective November 2, 2026.
