Requesting assistance to identify driver of dirt bike involved in numerous traffic complaints

dirt bike driverWe are requesting the public’s assistance to identify the driver of a dirt bike involved in a dangerous driving incident on September 1, 2024.

Shortly before 11:45 p.m. on September 1, 2024, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Municipal Road 80 and Main Street in Hanmer. While on the traffic stop, an unknown individual on a dirt bike began circling the cruiser, doing wheelies and donuts causing safety concerns for both the officer and the driver involved in the traffic stop.

The driver of the dirt bike then fled on the bike at a high rate of speed. The same dirt bike and driver has been the subject of numerous traffic complaints in the Valley East/Hanmer area.
