On April 16, 2021, the 33 year old woman who had sustained critical injuries during the fire was pronounced deceased at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto after being airlifted there on April 11, 2021 due to the severity of her injuries.
Her name will not be released out of respect for her family’s wishes.
