RIDE Check Results in Numerous Charges and Arrests
Over the weekend, from Thursday, December 17th to Saturday, December 19th, 2020, our Traffic Management Unit checked 1,512 vehicles in Greater Sudbury to ensure sober driving for our fourth Festive RIDE check of the season.
During the RIDE checks, our Officers arrested a 33-year old man wanted for robbery, as well as a 49-year old man who provided a false name to the roadside officer.Dec 21, 2020

On Friday, December 11, 2020, Patrol Officers located and arrested 34 year old Ty Thrush on an outstanding Arrest Warrant for Robbery x6 and Disguise with Intent x6 in connection to the local Robberies that occurred between November 7 and November 15, 2020.
He will be held in Police custody in order to attend Weekend and Statutory Holiday Court on Saturday, December 12, 2020 to answer to the charges.
