Over the past three days, Officers have arrested and charged three individuals in relation to two separate Break and Enter incidents at the Sudbury Arena.

On Monday, July 25, 2022, we received a call from an elderly community member who believed she was a victim of a Grandparent scam.
Information provided was that she was contacted by an individual pretending to be her granddaughter from the phone number 236-335-0168.
UPDATE
As a result of the ongoing investigation, Detectives in the Major Crime Section of our Criminal Investigation Division identified, located and arrested the individual believed to be responsible for numerous Indecent Acts on the Junction Creek walking path in the month of July.
On July 24, 2022, Detectives charged a 15 year old with Indecent Act x5 and Criminal Harassment x5.
In the early morning hours of Saturday, July 16th, 2022 a 51-year old man attended Greater Sudbury Police Service headquarters to report that he had been kidnapped by two men on July 7th, 2022. The men drove him to a location in Hamilton, Ontario, where he was kept against his will for a duration of several days.
UPATE 2
Last night, July 13, 2022, 29 year old Derreck Elliott was arrested and charged for the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada;
He was held in Police custody overnight and will attend Bail Court today, July 14, 2022 in order to answer to the charges.

Through the ongoing investigation into the Attempt Murder that took place on July 7, 2022 inside a residence on Frood.
