UPDATE 4 – 44-year-old man charged - Officers investigating fatal collision on Lasalle Extension

As a result of the ongoing investigation into the fatal collision on June 17, 2025, on the Lasalle Extension that claimed the life of a 44-year-old, man, officers in the Integrated Traffic Safety Unit (ITSU) have arrested and charged the now 44-year-old, man who was driving the Dodge Caravan involved in the collision with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada and the Highway Traffic Act (HTA);

Through the ongoing investigation into the fatal collision on Maley Drive on November 5, 2025, officers have identified the deceased pedestrian as a 37-year-old, woman from Greater Sudbury.

UPDATE – Fatal pedestrian collision on Attlee Avenue at Lasalle BoulevardUPDATE
Based on the investigation by members of our Integrated Traffic Safety Unit (ITSU), charges will not be laid against the driver involved in the fatal pedestrian collision on Attlee Avenue at Lasalle Boulevard on November 5, 2025. It has been determined that the driver was not at fault and that speed, drugs or alcohol were not factors in the collision.
