Officers investigating suspected arson on Notre Dame Avenue – Person of interest
UPDATE
Through the ongoing investigation, officers identified the person believed to be responsible for the fire at a local business on Notre Dame Avenue on November 1, 2025.
On November 5, 2025, officers arrested and charged 30-year-old, Dylan Savard with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada;
- Arson – Disregard for human life
- Arson – Damage to property
- Breach of Probation
He was held overnight and will attend Bail Court today, November 6, 2025, to answer to the charges.
