Over the past two weeks, the Break, Enter and Robbery (B.E.A.R) Unit has arrested multiple individuals believed to be responsible for a significant series of thefts targeting local L.C.B.O. locations. It is believed that the total loss value is over $30,000.

Over the past several months, L.C.B.O. stores across Greater Sudbury have experienced an increase of theft-related incidents. Through a coordinated and intelligence-led investigation, the B.E.A.R. Unit identified several individuals believed to be responsible for repeated, high-value thefts impacting both the business and the community.

Over the course of the investigation, detectives executed targeted enforcement efforts resulting in the arrest of five individuals. Collectively, these individuals are facing 71 charges related to theft and associated offences.

As a result of the investigation, the following individuals have been arrested and charged with offences under the Criminal Code of Canada;

31-year-old, Ahmed Saeed

26-year-old, Logan Daniel

44-year-old, Ryan Jewell

15-year-old, young offender
