The Greater Sudbury Police Service is committed to policing with excellence and professionalism. We apply best practices in planning and delivering our core functions to ensure the right resources are deployed to the right place at the right time, effective and efficiently serving our community.
To better serve our community, we've made several types of reports available online.
Rubireports provides an intuitive, accessible, and user‑friendly way to report non‑emergent crimes and incidents. Designed for modern users, Rubireports includes:
- Multi-lingual support in over 50 languages to ensure accessibility for our diverse community.
- Accurate geolocation with Google Maps integration for easy address lookup
- Mobile‑friendly design for reporting on any device, anytime
- Digital evidence upload, allowing files 3GB+ including photos, videos, and documents
Before getting started, there are a few things you should know before submitting an online report:
- Reports can only be submitted for incidents that occurred within the City of Greater Sudbury
- A valid email address is required
- Officers will not attend your residence or business after an online report is submitted
- If you are reporting Sexual Assault, Human Trafficking, or a Hate Crime/Hate‑Motivated Incident, a detective will contact you.
- For all other report types, you will ONLY be contacted if additional information is required.
