The Greater Sudbury Police Service employs 270 sworn members who use modern techniques and technology to prevent, detect, and reduce crime. As a GSPS Officer, you will receive comprehensive training, learn to assess information effectively, and provide high‑quality service to our community.
Officers begin their careers in Patrol Operations, working directly within the community to prevent and investigate crime. As you gain experience, there are opportunities to advance into specialized units, including:
