Are you passionate about our community and our Police Service?

Our Event Volunteers attend various events within the community with our members as an extension of the Police Service. We know that many youth have the desire to make a difference and contribute to the overall safety, security and wellness of Greater Sudbury and this is why we have extended our Event Volunteer eligibility to community members 14 years old and older. Parental consent is required for community members between the ages of 14-17.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Event set up and take down
  • Registration assistance
  • Escort attendees to seating arrangements
  • Promote volunteer opportunities at various community events
  • Drive fleet vehicles to escort persons and/or transport items to and from events (*must have G Drivers Licence)

  • Must be 14 years old or older (14-17 requires a parental consent form)
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Must pass a Police Check
