**Due to the recent change in weather, the Collision Reporting Centre is experiencing an increase in reports of collisions and there may be a significant wait. Please have patience as the attendants are doing their best to deal with drivers as they come in.**

We work in collaboration with Accident Support Services to provide our community with efficient and effective collision reporting through the Collision Reporting Centre.

Prior to attending the Collision Reporting Centre, please ensure that you have the proper and valid documentations including your Driver's License, ownership and insurance slip, as well as the vehicle involved.

If your vehicle has been towed from the collision scene, confirm with the tow company that the vehicle has been towed to and from CRC for photos.

All motor vehicle collisions that occur within the City of Greater Sudbury are directed to Collision Reporting Centre except when:

  • The collision results in serious injury or death
  • A vehicle involved in the collision is carrying hazardous material
  • There is reason to believe Criminality is involved (i.e. Impaired Driver, stolen vehicle, etc.)

If you are involved in a collision, please make sure to exchange information with the driver of the other vehicle(s):

  • Driver's Licence
  • Insurance information
  • Ownership information
  • Phone number

If your vehicle can be driven, please attend the Collision Reporting Centre with your vehicle at your earliest convenience.

If your vehicle cannot be driven, please call a tow truck company and have your vehicle towed directly to the Collision Reporting Centre. You must also attend the Collision Reporting Centre.
