Shortly after 9:00 p.m. on September 19, 2025, officers were dispatched to a serious collision involving a motorcycle and a white Ford F-450 truck on Municipal Road 84 in Capreol. The driver of the motorcycle, a 16-year-old, youth was taken to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. She remains in hospital in critical, but stable condition.

Based on the preliminary investigation it is believed that the motorcycle was traveling southbound on Municipal Road 84 when it collided with the truck that was traveling northbound, making a left-hand turn onto a property.

Our Integrated Traffic Safety Unit is investigating the collision and the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone who was driving in the area at the time of the collision who has relevant dash camera footage or who has information related to the collision is asked to contact police at 705-675-9171 or Crime Stoppers at 705-222-8477.
