On July 9, 2025, officers were dispatched to a residence in Garson in relation to a Robbery with a firearm. Information provided was that two individuals attended the residence where a verbal altercation took place with those present inside the home. One of the individuals displayed a handgun while the other individual stole personal items from the victims. The two individuals then fled the scene in a blue Ford F-150 pick-up truck prior to police being called.
Detectives from our Break Enter and Robbery (BEAR) Unit identified the two individuals believed to be responsible and were granted arrest warrants for 46-year-old, Graham Bosch and 24-year-old, Julien Coutu for the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada:
- Utter Threat to Cause Death or Bodily Harm
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Robbery while using a firearm (restricted or prohibited)
- Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose peace or commit
- Unlawfully in a Dwelling
- Pointing Firearm
- Possession of Firearm/Weapon contrary to a Prohibition Order x3
On July 14, 2025, Graham Bosch and Julien Coutu were arrested by the Ontario Provincial Police at a residence in the Temiskaming Shores area in relation to this matter. Detectives from our BEAR Unit with the assistance of the OPP executed a search warrant at the residence where officers located evidence connected to the Robbery including the blue Ford F150 used to flee the scene.
The two individuals attended Bail Court on July 14, 2025, where they were remanded into custody.
The individuals involved in the matter are known to each other and this is believed to be a targeted incident.
