cocaineJust before 4:15 p.m. on April 24, 2025, officers were dispatched to a residence on Whittaker Street in relation to unwanted persons inside the residence. Information provided was that individuals were unlawfully present in the lower unit of the residence and the homeowner wanted them removed.

Officers arrived on scene and were given permission by the homeowner to enter the lower unit as the individuals inside were trespassing. While speaking with the individuals, officers saw illicit drugs and drug packaging materials in plain sight. The two individuals were placed under arrest. While clearing the unit, officers located multiple replica handguns, additional drugs and cash.

In total, officers located and seized, over 84 grams of Cocaine, 60 grams of Crack, over $9,000 in cash, five replica guns, drug packaging materials and numerous cellphones. The estimated street value of the drugs is $10,600.

31-year-old, Robin Nootchtai has been charged with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA):

  • Personation with Intent (providing false identification to officers)
  • Obstruct Peace Officer
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

replica guns53-year-old, Trevor Rice has been charged with the following offences under the CCC and the CDSA:

  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking

Both individuals were held in police custody overnight and will attend Bail Court today, April 25, 2025, to answer to the charges.
