cash seizedAround 2:10 a.m. this morning, September 16, 2025, patrol officers while on McKim Street ran a vehicle through a police database, receiving a hit for a registered owner with unconfirmed insurance. The officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle to confirm the status of the required documentation.

Upon speaking with the driver and two passengers of the vehicle, officers saw an open container of alcohol. Based on the observation, officers formed reasonable and probable grounds under the Liquor Licence and Control Act (LLCA) to search the vehicle. The driver and passengers were asked to exit the vehicle while officers conducted the search.

While searching the vehicle officers located a significant amount of what is believed to be Cocaine and over $2,200 in cash. The estimate street value of the drugs is $33,270.

drugs seizedAs a result of the investigations, two women (31- and 36-years-old) and a 26-year-old, man were arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Schedule I Substance. All three individuals were released on undertakings with a court date of November 12, 2025, to answer to the charge. Their names cannot be released as the information has not yet been sworn to through the court process.
