Since October 23, 2019, there have been six reported Thefts of donation boxes.

We are asking businesses that have donation boxes to ensure that the boxes are accounted for. As a business owner or employee, if you notice that your donation box is missing, please report it online through our website www.gsps.ca under Reporting using the Theft Under $5,000 report type.

In relation to the recent incidents that have been reported, the same man has been identified as the suspect in all six of the Thefts. A photo of the man is attached.

Although the Thefts are not violent incidents, we ask that you do not approach this individual, but rather call Police.

We are urging businesses with donation boxes to remove the boxes from plain sight when the customer service counter is unattended and please empty the donation boxes on a regular basis, securing the monetary donations in a safe location.
