Around 2:25 a.m. this morning, Friday, March 18, 2022, we received a call regarding a collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Notre Dame Avenue and King Street.

City of Greater Sudbury Paramedic Services transported the 28 year old man to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He remains in critical condition in the hospital. His name will not be released out of respect for his family’s wishes.

Through the investigation it has been determined that a blue four-door sedan was travelling Northbound on Notre Dame Avenue when it struck the man at the intersection of King Street.

Officers from our Traffic Management Unit are investigating the collision and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
