UPDATE 3
The Integrated Traffic Safety Unit (ITSU) continues to investigate the fatal collision that occurred on June 17, 2025, on Lasalle Boulevard.

The driver of the sedan travelling westbound on Lasalle Boulevard at the time of the collision has been identified and spoken to.
The other two drivers have yet to be identified. Officers are still looking to speak to the following two drivers;
The driver of a dark-coloured pickup truck also travelling westbound on Lasalle Blvd, who passed the pulled-over sedan/SUV and continued westbound.
The driver of a vehicle believed to be a white Ford Bronco or Jeep Wrangler, travelling eastbound on Lasalle Blvd prior to the collision.
If you were driving either of these vehicles or know the identities of the individuals driving the vehicles pictured, please contact our ITSU at 705-675-9171 extension 2421. Officers believe these two drivers may have information that could assist with this investigation.
UPDATE 2
The Integrated Traffic Safety Unit continues to investigate the fatal collision that occurred on June 17, 2025, on Lasalle Blvd. Officers are seeking to identify and speak with three individuals who may have information that could assist in the investigation.
Individual 1: The driver of a sedan or SUV travelling westbound on Lasalle Blvd, who pulled over between Frood Road and Elm Street for approximately two minutes following the collision, before continuing westbound.
Individual 2: The driver of a dark-coloured pickup truck also travelling westbound on Lasalle Blvd, who passed the pulled-over sedan/SUV and continued westbound.
Individual 3: The driver of a vehicle believed to be a white Ford Bronco or Jeep Wrangler, travelling eastbound on Lasalle Blvd prior to the collision.

UPDATE 1
The Greater Sudbury Police Service (GSPS) continues to seek witnesses to the fatal collision that occurred on the Lasalle Extension between Frood Road and Elm Street on Tuesday, June 17th, 2025.
If you were in the area between 6:00 a.m. and 6:20 a.m. on June 17th, 2025, please contact the GSPS Integrated Traffic Safety Unit at 705-675-9171 extension 2421 or submit an anonymous tip through Sudbury Crime Stoppers at 705-222-8477.
ORIGINAL
Around 6:15 a.m. on June 17, 2025, officers were dispatched to a serious motor vehicle collision involving multiple vehicles.
Based on the preliminary investigation, it is believed that a Blue Dodge Caravan was travelling westbound on the Lasalle Extension when it collided with a Black Dodge Dart and a Grey Ford F-150, both travelling eastbound.
Unfortunately, a 44-year-old, man, the driver of the Dodge Dart was pronounced deceased on scene. A 43-year-old, man, the driver of the Dodge Caravan was transported to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries and the driver of the Ford F-150 was not injured.
Our deepest condolences go out to the friends and family of the deceased. His name will not be released out of respect for his family’s wishes.
Officers from our Integrated Traffic Safety Unit (Traffic Management Unit) remain on scene and are investigating the collision.
Anyone who has a dash camera and was travelling on the Lasalle Extension between Frood Road and Elm Street between 6:00 a.m. and 6:20 a.m. this morning, June 17, 2025, is asked to review the footage and contact the Traffic Management Unit at 705-675-9171 with any relevant information.
