A 25 year old man from Greater Sudbury has been arrested and charged with Extortion and Criminal Harassment in relation to this incident.

The man has been remanded into custody with a court date of April 23, 2020.

Requesting Assistance to Check on Well-being After Incident at the Grotto

Around 3:15 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2020, a woman was seen standing in the parking lot of the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes off of Van Horne Street when a man exited the driver’s seat of a parked grey/silver four-door sedan (picture attached), grabbed the woman and forced her into the car.
