The Greater Sudbury Police Service would like to advise the public of possible traffic disruptions on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at various schools across Greater Sudbury as members of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation engage in a full day withdrawal of services.

At 7:55 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2019, a man entered a convenience store on Elm Street and demanded money from the cashier. Another customer entered the store causing the man to flee on foot with a single item of minimal value.

On November 28 and 29, 2019, members of our Integrated Crime Team (I.C.T) with support from Patrol Operations and the Central Community Response Unit conducted focused patrols in the area of Elm Street, Cedar Street, Larch Street and Beech Street in relation to ongoing concerns of suspected illegal drug activity and loitering.

The Greater Sudbury Police Service Internet Child Exploitation (I.C.E.) Unit was notified of a disturbing video making its way around Greater Sudbury that had been viewed on Facebook and Facebook Messenger.
