BEAR Unit Arrests Man in Connection to Numerous Commercial Break and Enters in New Sudbury

Between April 15 and July 4, 2021, eight commercial Break and Enters were reported by local businesses in the New Sudbury area. The string of B&E’s was assigned to our Break Enter and Robbery (BEAR) Unit of our Integrated Crime Team as it was suspected that the same individual was involved in all of the incidents.

Hot Pursuit Ends in Arrest and Seizure of Over $63,700 Worth of Drugs

Around 5:30 p.m. on July 5, 2021, we received a call regarding a suspicious person at a residence on College Street. Information provided was that a man appeared to be armed with brass knuckles and was believed to be intoxicated by drugs.
