We are pleased to announce that our own Constable Stefany Mussen is the recipient of the IODE Canada Youth Award.
Cst. Mussen is currently a School Resource Officer and the Liaison Officer for the Chief’s Youth Advisory Council (CYAC). Each and every day, Cst. On February 11, 2021, we received a call from a concerned parent regarding a Suspicious Incident on Central Lane in Garson. Information provided was that around 2:35 p.m. a youth was walking up Central Lane from the Garson Park when approached by a man. The man then made an unwanted sexual advance towards the youth and then left the area heading towards Garson Park.

Shortly after 12:20 a.m. this morning, February 14, 2021, City of Greater Sudbury Paramedic Services attended a residence on McNeil Boulevard in relation to a woman in medical distress.
Paramedics attempted life-saving measures while transporting the woman to the hospital where she was unfortunately pronounced deceased by medical professionals.
The woman has been identified as 29 year old, Stephanie Allan.

On February 11, 2021 the Internet Child Exploitation (I.C.E.) and Computer Forensics Units assisted by members of our Emergency Response and Intelligence Units executed a Search Warrant at a residence in Greater Sudbury.
As a result of the investigation, 44 year old, Tina Lashbrook was arrested and charged with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada;

We are requesting the Public’s assistance in order to identify the driver of a black four-door Nissan hatchback involved in a Fail to Remain that occurred around 2:50 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 2021, at the intersection of Cedar Street and Paris Street in downtown.
