Detectives Investigating Suspicious Death at Residence on Sturgeon Street

Around 10:55 a.m. on May 11, 2022, Officers were dispatched to a residence on Sturgeon Street in Dowling after City of Greater Sudbury Fire Services responded to the home in relation to a man who was unconscious. Unfortunately, the man was pronounced deceased on scene. At this time, we do not have a confirmed identity for the man.

Altercation at Bus Terminal on Kingsway Leads to Arrest of 22 year old Man

Around 5:20 p.m. on Sunday, May 8, 2022, Officers were dispatched to a Disturbance at the Ontario Northland Bus Terminal on the Kingsway. Information provided was that multiple men had been involved in a verbal argument that turned into a physical altercation and it was believed that a gunshot was heard prior to the men leaving the area.

Arrest Made - Shooting at Walmart on Lasalle Boulevard

Through the investigation, it was determined that wanted party, Kaden Graham was believed to be inside of a residential unit on Montague Avenue in Greater Sudbury.

Detectives applied for and were granted a Warrant to Enter a Dwelling House in order to enter the residence.

Around 9:20 p.m. on May 4, 2022, members of our Emergency Response Unit entered the residence and immediately took Kaden Graham into custody.

Child Pornography Investigation Spanning 13 Months Results in Four Individuals Arrested and Charged

Over the past 13 months, the Greater Sudbury Police Service Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has completed an extensive child pornography investigation resulting in four individuals being charged with multiple child pornography offences.

As a result of the investigation, a fourth and final individual involved in this matter, 36-year old Raymond Stargratt, was arrested and charged with the following offences:

• Possess Child Pornography x 4
