35 year old Marc Leblanc Wanted on Outstanding Arrest Warrant for Aggravated Assault

Shortly after 8:05 a.m. on November 14, 2022, Officers were dispatched to an address on Willow Street in relation to an Unknown Trouble.

Upon arrival, Officers located a 33 year old man who had sustained serious injuries. He was transported to hospital by City of Greater Sudbury Paramedic Services. It is believed that the man was involved in an altercation with another man who fled the scene prior to police arrival.

40 year old Man Arrested and Charged After Incident on Stanley Street

Around 1:25 a.m., this morning, November, 3, 2022, Officers were dispatched the area of Regent Street in relation to a Weapons Complaint.

Information provided was that two men had been in an altercation at a residence on Stanley Street resulting in one of the men being stabbed by the other.

Three Individuals Deceased in Residence on Caruso Street

UPDATE

Through the investigation, the three individuals have been identified as 46 year old Brian Desormeaux, 43 year old Janet Desormeaux and 17 year old Ashton Desormeaux; a father, mother and son who all lived in the residence.

This incident is being investigated as a Murder Suicide and we continue to work in collaboration with the Coroner’s Office. Due to the sensitive nature of this investigation, no further details will be provided at this time.
