Missing Person Stephanie Allan Located Deceased

UPDATE

Shortly after 12:20 a.m. this morning, February 14, 2021, City of Greater Sudbury Paramedic Services attended a residence on McNeil Boulevard in relation to a woman in medical distress. 

 

Paramedics attempted life-saving measures while transporting the woman to the hospital where she was unfortunately pronounced deceased by medical professionals.

 

The woman has been identified as 29 year old, Stephanie Allan.

44 year old Woman Arrested and Charged with Child Pornography Offences

On February 11, 2021 the Internet Child Exploitation (I.C.E.) and Computer Forensics Units assisted by members of our Emergency Response and Intelligence Units executed a Search Warrant at a residence in Greater Sudbury.

As a result of the investigation, 44 year old, Tina Lashbrook was arrested and charged with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada;

  • Access Child Pornography x2
  • Possess Child Pornography x2
  • Distribute Child Pornography x2

Requesting Assistance to Identify Driver After Occupants of Vehicle Fled on Foot

We are requesting the Public’s assistance in order to identify the driver of a black four-door Nissan hatchback involved in a Fail to Remain that occurred around 2:50 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 2021, at the intersection of Cedar Street and Paris Street in downtown.

The black Nissan hatchback was traveling Southbound on Paris Street (MR80) towards the Bridge of Nations when it collided with a silver four-door Kia sedan that was traveling Westbound on Cedar Street towards the Downtown Transit Hub....

R.I.D.E. Spot Checks and Impaired Driving Offences

The Greater Sudbury Police Service is continuing with its "Anytime Anywhere RIDE" campaign. Throughout the past several weeks, officers have been conducting spot checks during the day and in the evening at random locations. Since the beginning of the month, we have laid impaired driving related charges against eight (8) individuals:

  • Seven (7) out of eight (8) drivers charged were determined to be impaired by drug.
  • Two (2) drivers were charged criminally for driving without an ignition interlock...
