Red Dress Artwork Unveiling at N’Swakamok Native Friendship Centre

Today, we were honoured to be a part of today’s artwork unveiling at N’Swakamok Native Friendship Centre to honour and acknowledge Red Dress Day, and to commemorate Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and 2-Spirit Peoples. Arrest Made - Shooting at Walmart on Lasalle Boulevard

Through the investigation, it was determined that wanted party, Kaden Graham was believed to be inside of a residential unit on Montague Avenue in Greater Sudbury.

Detectives applied for and were granted a Warrant to Enter a Dwelling House in order to enter the residence.

Around 9:20 p.m. on May 4, 2022, members of our Emergency Response Unit entered the residence and immediately took Kaden Graham into custody.

Child Pornography Investigation Spanning 13 Months Results in Four Individuals Arrested and Charged

Over the past 13 months, the Greater Sudbury Police Service Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit has completed an extensive child pornography investigation resulting in four individuals being charged with multiple child pornography offences.

As a result of the investigation, a fourth and final individual involved in this matter, 36-year old Raymond Stargratt, was arrested and charged with the following offences:

• Access Child Pornography x 3
• Possess Child Pornography x 4

Information received was that a woman had been stabbed several times by a man known to her inside their shared residential building. Motor Vehicle Collision – 6-year old Child Struck by Motor Vehicle on Second Avenue

On April 25th, 2022 at 7:20 p.m., we received a call in relation to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Second Avenue, northbound between Camelot and Kenwood Street in Greater Sudbury. Information received was that a 6-year old girl had been struck by a motor vehicle. City of Greater Sudbury Paramedic Services arrived on scene to medically assess the girl, who was in stable condition and had suffered non-life threatening injuries.
