DEU detectives seize $30,000 in illicit drugs after traffic stop on Lorne Street

On February 25, 2025, Detectives from the Integrated Crime Section with the assistance of Patrol Operations and the Community Response Unit conducted a traffic stop on Lorne Street in relation to individuals believed to be trafficking illicit drugs in Greater Sudbury.

At approximately 2:00 a.m. on February 13th, 2025, the Greater Sudbury Police Service responded to a call regarding a home invasion and shooting at a residence on Lasalle Boulevard.
