Around 4:50 p.m. on May 4, 2025, officers were dispatched to a property on Van Horne Street in relation to a weapons complaint. Information provided was that a group of individuals were seen in the park armed with what were believed to be firearms.

Officers arrived in the area and located the individuals matching the descriptions provided. Officers saw that one of the individuals appeared to be carrying a firearm. The four individuals were arrested without incident.

Just before 10:55 a.m. this morning, April 29, 2025, officers were dispatched to a store on the Kingsway in relation to a Robbery in progress. Just before 4:15 p.m. on April 24, 2025, officers were dispatched to a residence on Whittaker Street in relation to unwanted persons inside the residence. Information provided was that individuals were unlawfully present in the lower unit of the residence and the homeowner wanted them removed.

On April 23, 2025, members of our Emergency Response Unit (ERU) and Integrated Crime Section identified and located a vehicle believed to be occupied by an individual wanted on multiple outstanding arrest warrants. Just before 7:30 p.m. members of ERU conducted a high-risk traffic stop on Edgehill Drive and located the individual hiding in the back seat.
