On November 27th, 2022 just after 9:00 p.m., Officers attended a residential area in Azilda in response to what appeared to be a Theft in progress. So far in the month of November, we’ve arrested 20 impaired drivers (during both regular traffic patrol and RIDE checks). That number is completely unacceptable.

Through the ongoing investigation, Detectives in the Major Crime Section of our Criminal Investigation Division have gathered images of the unidentified man who brought the 22 year old man to the hospital (images attached).

We are looking to speak with this man in order to determine the events that lead to the 22 year old man sustaining critical injuries.

Just before 11:15 p.m. on November 22, 2022, an Officer saw a vehicle belonging to a suspended driver being driven in the area of Paris Street at Cedar Street. Upon running the vehicle, the Officer also determined that the insurance status of the vehicle was unconfirmed and the permit was expired.

The Officer turned on the emergency lights of the cruiser in order to conduct a traffic stop, however the driver did not pull over.
