28-year-old man charged with attempt murder after stabbing in wooded area off Leslie Street

Just before 9:00 p.m. on December 11, 2024, officers were dispatched to a wooded area off Leslie Street in relation to a weapons complaint. Information provided was that an individual had been stabbed and required medical attention.

Officers arrived on scene and located a 28-year-old, man who had sustained non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital by Greater Sudbury Paramedics.

Around 3:05 p.m. on December 11, 2024, officers were dispatched to an Intimate Partner Violence-related assault in progress on Notre Dame Avenue in Hanmer.
